Winter is often when we retreat indoors; we light the lamps, tread the old floorboards and reacquaint ourselves with the homes, pubs, halls and stages that have patiently waited for us to return after the warmer months.

With stately historical buildings lining the streets, Fremantle offers many hidden nooks and crannies to settle in during winter and relish heartening food, sip steaming tonics and swap tales and melodies by the fire.

Fremantle Festival: 10 Nights in Port is a celebration of this unique culture, presenting a range of contemporary music, theatre, visual arts, film and live performances in winter. From large-scale participatory events to immersive experiences and a number of WA premieres, the program consists of a series of carefully curated events that will warm the soul and enliven the senses.

Since 2021, Detail has supported the festival with both Public Relations and Digital Marketing services. Leveraging Detail’s established media networks, 10 Nights in Port achieved substantial coverage across print, TV, radio and digital publications. Highlights have included a Channel 9 and 10 Weather Cross, a front page cover of Today in The West Australian, a feature in Design Files and extensive coverage across local Fremantle outlets.

Detail has also managed the organic and paid social media activity for 10 Nights in Port and Hidden Treasures since 2020. The strategy for the 10 Nights in Port social media channels was to raise awareness for the range of exciting events and activations on offer as part of the Festival, while growing the brand’s digital audience. The social media accounts have seen a substantial uplift in impressions, engagement and follower growth across Facebook and Instagram over the course of Detail’s management.
