The Myer Christmas Giftorium is a unique concept in Australian retailing. It was developed to bring back fun and theatre to Christmas shopping, and to create a one-stop destination for customers during the festive season. At the heart of Giftorium is the desire to provide a unique set of services and create a new level of engagement with Myer customers shopping for Christmas gifts, decorations and festive food ideas.
Inspired by iconic international department stores, Myer is the only retailer in Australia to offer such an extensive Christmas program combining gifting services, in-store events, online services and a huge array of products. Each store has a dedicated Giftorium section bursting with colourful, exciting displays, tempting merchandise offerings and fully-trained Gifticians dressed in quirky Christmas uniforms.
Detail were engaged to drive awareness around Giftorium through a social media influencer campaign, in-store influencer event and traditional media outreach to position Myer Giftorium as the one-stop shop for Christmas Gifting in the Australian market.
The event saw a group of 25 influencers and their children be the first to experience the magic of the Christmas Giftorium at Myer, sharing their Christmas experience across their well-established social media channels.
