Detail works with Perth Airport in an ongoing capacity to deliver a range of marketing and events services. Below are a number of our most recent activations.

To celebrate Easter 2023, Detail conceived, managed, and delivered a vibrant, Perth-first art installation with globally renowned artist Pip & Pop. Filled with vibrant hues and pops of iridescent vinyl – the large-scale works covered Terminal 1 & 4 and coupled with free decadent chocolate treats provided a moment of surprise and delight for travellers across the Easter long weekend.

For Christmas 2022, Detail designed, managed and delivered a large-scale floral installation in the International Arrival Hall as a moment of surprise and delight for loved ones returning from overseas.

Working with one of Perth’s leading florists, the Australian-inspired floral installation was developed to celebrate the moment travellers land on home-soil. A social media activation formed part of the installation, to give those waiting in the arrival hall an opportunity to interact with the floral moment and go in the draw to win travel experiences and vouchers.

In March 2022, Detail was engaged by the Perth Airport to bring to life the official ‘Welcome Home’ event for the International Airport. This was not only an important moment for the travellers but a moment for the wider community – loved ones, local and national media outlets alike.

The activation included a large-scale WA native floral installation that greeted travellers as they made their way into the arrival hall, take-home posies of native blooms and posters for family members to gift their loved ones on arrival. A performance by the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra added atmosphere and stirred emotions amongst reunited families.

The roll-out of the event was hugely successful, with all major media outlets in attendance to capture the very first arrivals. The key event elements were broadcast across all key national and local media outlets in the following days, ensuring a high level of brand awareness and ongoing, positive sentiment towards Perth Airport and the eventual border opening.
