Salty Wings

Born of a passion for photography and documenting remote and unique landscapes, Salty Wings have cemented themselves as Australia’s most prolific aerial photography duo.

Creating the perfect fusion between Western Australian surfing culture, visual arts and entrepreneurship, the guys behind the lens, Jampal Williamson and Michael Goetze have become renowned for their incredible aerial images of some of the worlds most untouched seascapes and rugged terrain.

Off the back of a hugely successful online store, the duo was drawn to a retail space at Enex Perth as a way to give their customers a taste of the Salty Wings experience in a traditional retail setting.

Having built the Salty Wings brand and business purely online, this foray into the world of traditional retail was a first for the team, and as such Detail was engaged to work with Salty Wings during this period.

Detail worked closed with Salty Wings to concept, manage and deliver a VIP launch event for 100 guests including media, influencers and stakeholders to celebrate the opening. In addition to the launch event, Detail managed the roll out of a strategic publicity campaign for the brand, designed to highlight the profile of Salty Wings and drive visitation to both the online and traditional retail outlets.
