Detail was thrilled to be engaged by the City of Fremantle to manage the Visit Fremantle social media platforms. This includes strategic direction and content creation for Visit Fremantle’s Facebook and Instagram accounts between August 2020 and August 2023.
It’s no secret – Detail loves its city and will advocate for Fremantle to anyone who will stand long enough to listen. With our office located in the heart of the historic West End and the majority of our team based here, we live and breathe it.
With consideration to the City’s rapidly expanding built environment and community, Detail’s approach to the Visit Fremantle visitor-facing platforms is to position the City as a sophisticated and progressive destination. To do this, it is essential to showcase the exceptional hospitality and retail businesses, unique architecture, rich history and diverse events on offer.
With a digital community exceeding 106,000 active members, the management of the visitor-facing platforms required daily posting, monitoring and engagement. In addition, Detail was responsible for developing elevated and engaging content that reflected the City’s visitation goals.
Over the three-year management of the channel, Detail achieved a significant 95% uplift in impressions and 90% uplift in engagement across Instagram and Facebook. Profile actions and post-link clicks saw a 220% uplift and close to 20,000 new followers gained across the platforms.
Detail continues to manage paid Meta Advertising for the Visit Fremantle activations and key periods.
