In the heart of the Fremantle heritage precinct, The Apartment was the temporary transformation of the Detail office space into a luxury Pied-à-terre inspired by the high fashion streets of Paris, France.

The large studio style space is filled with architectural detail and character from the buildings construction in 1900, a rare occurrence in Western Australia.

To complement the building’s architectural detailing the styling incorporated, contemporary European furniture combined with artwork from well-known and upcoming local artists to create a chic and sophisticated ambience. Plush materials were combined with luxurious marbles and metals for a sense of refined elegance throughout The Apartment.

The Apartment was developed to stage an event which would introduce the market to Nickolas Gurtler, an interior designer specialising in creating luxurious spaces with a sophisticated and refined edge.

The event saw guests, including architects, designers, media and creatives, explore the impressive transformation while drinking speciality cocktails and canapés, while attracting substantial press and social media coverage for this industry newcomer.
