Tiller Rides is a crowd-funded micromobility start-up that recently opened its flagship store in Fremantle and officially launched. Their first product – the Roadster is an urban e-bike designed for the modern commuter that gets you from A to B, conveniently and sustainably.

Built from the ground up, each detail has been painstakingly refined by CEO Julian Ilich and his team.

Designed in Fremantle, the Roadster is the only e-bike of its kind to consider every aspect of an urban rider’s needs, from its sustainably crafted sleek frame and removable battery to an integrated cable lock and motion-sensing alarm that can be tracked via the Tiller App. It is also one of the most stylish e-bikes on the market. Its sleek design and leather trims make it instantly recognisable as a Tiller.

Almost five years in the making, what started as a dream among friends has transformed into a brand that seeks to inspire people to use transport that is better for the planet and their health and wellbeing.

Tiller Ride’s flagship store is located on the prominent Fremantle corner of Queen Victoria Street and Parry Street. It’s a green-powered destination for people to get to know Tiller, take the Roadster for a spin and connect with a community of like-minded individuals who have a passion for good design, health and a more sustainable way of living.

Detail was engaged to manage the media and publicity around the opening of Tiller Rides’ flagship store as well as the launch of the Roadster to market, securing a range of coverage across print, online and social media.

Press coverage highlights include a selection of articles in the West Australian across the Business and Motoring sections, covering the story behind Tiller and reviewing the functionality of the Roadster. These pieces ran across print and online, as well as in Seven West Media’s regional publications. Detail also collaborated with six influencers to engage audiences across social media.
