Tommy & Bella is a luxury accessories label for sophisticated pets.
Specialising in leather goods, the launch collection offers collars, leashes and a detachable ‘treats bag’ to hold goodies for your furry friend along with credit cards and keys. With the personalisation trend continuing to grow, Tommy & Bella offers leather tags that can be monogrammed with your pet’s initials.
We were engaged from the very early stages to assist in developing the brand’s identity and subsequently promoting the launch collection. As a high-end, trend-orientated offering, we wanted to create campaign imagery that was reflective of a sleek fashion editorial to appeal to discerning pet owners.
The campaign was created with Perth’s leading fashion photographer along with an international model who posed with the pet talent. Extensive set design was required to bring the concept to life, reflecting the two-tone leather finishes used throughout the collection.
While the tone was sophisticated, there was still an element of tongue-in-cheek humour and a sense of fun. A range of lifestyle content was created for the brand’s social media platforms, which was more playful in nature and focused on pets in everyday scenarios.
With the brand available online only, a key component of the launch strategy was to engage with social media influencers internationally through a gifting program. In addition, product placement opportunities were targeted in traditional media outlets nationally.
This activity resulted in a strong social media presence throughout the launch period, as well as several traditional media outcomes driving direct sales.
Detail continues to work with Tommy & Bella to develop content for social media, engage with influencers as well as advise and assist with the execution of their digital and ecommerce strategy, through the creation of eDMs, Facebook adverting and channel optimisation.
