The Fremantle Biennale returns in its biggest-ever format for 2023 with SIGNALS. Extraordinary artistic expression will take over Fremantle’s streets, buildings and waterways between 3-19 November, with the festival exploring the concept of movement and communication across distances, from shifting landscapes and sea voyages to arrivals and departures at the ocean edge.
Whether you’re a local, seasoned traveller or first-time visitor, there’s always a reason (or two) to visit Fremantle.
This is the inaugural year for Fremantle Design Week, an event to sharpen the focus on the State’s cultural capital. Although the event takes place in Fremantle, the festival celebrates design in all its forms, drawing ideas from everywhere and anywhere.
